All are invited to take these twelve days to explore, study, understand and practice of the value of non-harm and nonviolence. Take some time to consider alternatives to violence, to share strategies for resolving conflict, and to join community members city wide in this intentional practice that provides a strong foundation for engaged compassion.

International Day of Nonviolence Gathering

Friday, October 2, Noon, Big Four Walking Bridge

Leaders and everyday people from around the community will speak out, listen to local peacemakers, words of great peacemakers of the past, and take a Pledge of Nonviolence. All are welcome!

Initiative created by DGCEC and cosponsored by Interfaith Paths to Peace, St. William, and other fine Louisville Metro organizations.
