Join artist and interfaith leader Terry “Cozad” Taylor for three mornings of spiritual exploration via creativity.
Engage in:
- Visual Listening – learning to be fully present to the world around us by using cameras, sketchbooks smartphones, and other creative tools
- Non-Verbal Communication – decorating ceramic tiles with alcohol ink – to pour out our feelings when words fail us
- Lectio Divina* Reflection – using this meditative practice to work with our own life stories, which have their own quality of Holiness
Receive a free inscribed copy of Cozad’s 2009 book, A Spirituality for Brokenness. Participants are encouraged to bring a camera, audio recorder, sketchbook, drawing and painting supplies, and or a notebook. Tile materials will be provided.
*Lectio Divina is a meditative process used to gain maximum understanding when reading a sacred text.

COZAD TERRY TAYLOR is an artist, photographer, writer, and poet who served as Executive Director of Interfaith Paths to Peace from 2005-2015. He is the author of A Spirituality for Brokenness, published by Skylight Paths in 2009.
