The practice of meditation is central to the Buddhist path. You don’t have to be a Buddhist to practice meditation. Many of the people who attend meditation and prayer sessions at DGCEC come from different religions.

They tell us that their weekly meditation sessions help enhance the way they experience their own religious tradition.

Meditation has many benefits – It helps with focus, concentration, relaxation, prayer and is fundamental to one's health.

The Wednesday evening session at DGCEC comprises of two 20 minute periods of meditation combined with short prayers and chanting.

Everyone is welcome to attend these weekly sessions.
