World Peace Sand Mandala Opening Ceremony:

End 2014 well and begin 2015 auspiciously as part of this five day prayer for non-violence in the United States and around the world. Join interfaith and community leaders for the opening ceremony from Noon to 1:00pm at DGCEC. Then follow the construction over the next days:
Wednesday, 12/31: 1 – 6pm
Thursday, 1/1/2015: 2 – 6pm
Friday, 1/2/: 10am – 5pm
Saturday, 1/3: Noon to 3pm
Sunday, 1/4: 2 – 5pm with the Dissolution Ceremony at 4:30pm
Special Meditation Vigil for the New Year:
Wednesday, December 31st, 7-8:00pm
Join us in “seeing the old year out” with chanting, meditation, simple refreshments

Special GREEN TARA PRAYER AND HEALING CEREMONY
Please join us for a very special Green Tara Puja this Saturday, Jan 3rd from 10am to Noon, followed by a potluck lunch.
All who are ill or want to offer prayers for a loved-one who is ill are encouraged to bring an offering donation of flowers/fruit for the altar, potluck food to share for lunch, and a financial donation ($5 to $10 suggested).
