The Monks of The Sacred Arts Tour will Construct a new Sand Mandala for World Peace – Come along and enjoy the tranquility of the Shrine room and witness the ancient and mysterious Tibetan practice of creating stunningly beautiful sacred images from colored sand.

New Year’s Eve
World Peace Sand Mandala Opening Ceremony:
Wednesday, December 31st, Noon
End 2014 well and begin 2015 auspiciously as part of this five day prayer for non-violence in the United States and around the world. Join interfaith and community leaders for the opening ceremony from Noon to 1:00pm at DGCEC. Then follow the construction over the next days:
Wednesday, 12/31: 1 – 6pm
Thursday, 1/1/2015: 2 – 6pm
Friday, 1/2/: 10am – 5pm
Saturday, 1/3: Noon to 3pm
Sunday, 1/4: 2 – 5pm with the Dissolution Ceremony at 4:30pm
Special Meditation Vigil for the New Year:
Wednesday, December 31st, 7-8:00pm
